Homebrewing Kits that are Easy and get you Buzzed
Trying out Homebrewing Kits is the next logical step for me to take on this beer buzz journey. Rating beers made from the large brewers to the little microbrewers and midsize craft brewers is fun and easy for me; though some of these guys produce some horrific monsters that make my job challenging forcing me to resent their very existence!

Making beer at home may give me a little insight on what it takes to make a good beer, why there are so many bad ones out there, and what aspects of the brewing process allow for a good euphoric buzz.
Now, I know a lot about drinking beer, but I know little about making it. So hopefully experimenting with these home brewing kits will teach me some things and allow me to move on to all grain brewing and start a new portion dedicated to that process on this website.
Here's the deal: I’m learning about making beer, you may be learning too, so let’s learn together and see what we can make.
Since I’ll be experimenting with a few of these commercial homebrewing kits, it might make sense to start with some ground rules to even out their comparison:
- Limit the budget to $100.00 – Let’s see what this amount gets us. Maybe they’ll have a setup with everything included, make a piece by piece compilation, or take advantage of whatever sale they’re promoting at time of purchase.
- Make 2 Equal Quality batches from each kit - This should include recipes that either come with the kit or fall within the budget.
- Make 1 Batch of their most Premium Recipe – This batch can be made after we gain some experience from the first 2 batches, and will be made as a second order (no budget ideas at this time).
- Finally, take a Chainsaw to our Creations! – Use the Method on each of these batches and see which brews Chainsaw the Night!
