Onto The Method
8.0/10 - The Classic 1.5 - Appearance – Pours a rich opaque white body with a dense head and interesting lacing over moderate carbonation. 1.5 - Aroma – A complex composition of wheat and yeast, citrus aroma as well as hop and floral characteristics. 1.5 - Taste – Fresh citrus flavors with light yeast tastings and mild hop character. 1.5 - Palate – A thin and low weight, light body that feels refreshing, pleasant and alive. 2.0 - Overall – A delicious and refreshing beer that gets better and better with each tasting.
5.0/10 Blades - The Hammer – the booze -With an alcohol content of 5.2% abv, the hammer starts out moderate and stays that way.
5.0/10 Blades - The Knife – digestibility - With such a thin body, the knife is lazy and barely cuts the alcohol through its thin ingredients.
6.0/10 Blades - The Spider – the lift - These spiders can't make up their minds. They arrive at the middle of the first but leave just as quickly. They are again apparent at the second, but leave again. They finally stay at the conclusion of the fourth.
7.0/10 Blades - The Motor –can you handle it? - This machine is easy to control, having a very clean and non-toxic disposition.
The Chainsaw
25.0/50 Blades - The Buzz – Bavik Wittekerke is another delicious and light beer that goes down smooth, refreshing and crisp on a cool early Spring evening. The representation and flavors are true to the style and one couldn't ask for a better Wheat ale. Unfortunately, the buzz is super light and barely makes a lift. The hammer is moderate to weak and the knife is terribly lazy at utilizing the low alcohol. Spiders can't make up their mind, and therefore the motor is easy to control due to a lack of an appreciable buzz. But Witterkerke is a good beer, and so that counts for something, right?
